Hibernian of Scotland defender, Efe Ambrose, is excited over the 3-1 victory recorded by his team over Hamilton on Tuesday at the Easter Road. Ambrose said the victory was a huge boost for the aspiration of Hibernian to finish within the top three bracket in the Scottish topflight.
The Hibs have reduced the gap between them and the Top Three teams to just one point as they remain 4th on the table with 58 points from 32 matches after winning 16 matches, drew 10 and lost six games.
They are behind Rangers who are now third with 59 points from same number of matches.
At the weekend, Hibernian defeated Patrick Thistle 2-0 alaso at home on same day Rangers drew 2-2 with Motherwell t the Easter Road and the defender who has appeared in the starting line-up of the team 30 times in 31 matches believes the team requires more wins to end in a better position on the table.
Shortly after the victory, Ambrose, who was in the Super Eagles team to Brazil 2014, said the next match against Ross County was crucial to the team.
Ambrose said: “We are very happy about the effect of the victory on the table. We have to keep wining and that includes the away match on Saturday which is away.
“Playing a team battling to escape relegation in their home is very tough because they are fighting for survival. We have to double efforts to get the desired result. We are going for a win but it will not come easy.”
Ross County are currently11th in the 12-team Scottish Premier League table with 25 points having won six matches, drew seven and lost 19.
