The Assistant Inspector – General of Police, Zone 5 Headquarters, Benin City, Edo State, Mr Rasheed Akintunde, has decorated five Chief Superintendents of Police, CSPs, serving at the zonal Headquarters, Benin City, who were recently promoted by the Police Service Commission, PSC, with their new ranks of Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP.
The five officers were promoted on the recommendation of the Inspector-General of Police, IG, Mr Ibrahim Idris.
Mr Emeka Iheanacho, Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in a statement, yesterday, said: “Those decorated are Edwin Ogbeghagha, formerly Officer in charge of Zonal Anti-Homicide section of the ZCIID who is now posted to Enugu State Command as new Area Commander, Udenu Area Command.
“Others are Cyris Obiozo, formerly Officer in charge of Anti-Kidnapping/Cultism of the zone, now posted as Area Commander Keffi in Nasarawa State; Bolanle Murtala, formerly the Co-ordinator of the Zonal Criminal Investigation and Intelligence department (ZCIID ); Mabel Temisanren, and Shuaibu Audu, formerly sector Commander IGP Tactical Monitoring Unit, Edo State.”
