…Lamido’s posters flood Coal city

ENUGU—STATE Governors under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, last night met in Enugu.

The governors who started arriving the Enugu Government House at about 5pm  were yet not complete at time of filling this report.

Those who arrived first were Governors Seriake Dickson of  Bayelsa State; Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom and about five others whose identities were not ascertained.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state had received some of the governors at  Akanu Ibiam International airport   and drove with them to Enugu Government House, venue of the meeting.

Eleven other PDP governors were being expected  even as the meeting was yet to commence at time of report.

The outcome of the meeting is expected to be made known to the press anytime the meeting is concluded.

Meanwhile, campaign posters of former Governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido have flooded the coal city.

The posters indicated Lamido as running for President in 2019 under the PDP platform.

The posters littered conspicuous streets of Enugu such as airport road, PDP state and zonal secretariates in GRA, Nike Lake road, among other places.
