Brethren, we are now in the eleventh month of the year. We give glory to God. We are reminded that the year 2017 is gradually winding down.
You will not roll away with the year in Jesus name.
Brethren, the month of October like other months, was a mixed bag, while some families remember it for good, it left others with pains but our God is good all the time. Even when we are crying here over the loss of a loved one, where the one we lost is a saved soul, heaven is rejoicing.
May God comfort all bereaved families in Jesus name.
This is one of the reasons why we must always appreciate God at all times as no human being can tell what hour he or she will pass on.
Therefore, that you are alive is an indication that you are a candidate for miracles.
In the name of Jesus, the Lord will give you that expected miracle before the year ends.
We’ll refer to the Holy Bible for some remarkable events that took place in the eleventh month or eleventh hour.
Before then, let’s have an appraisal of your spiritual lives. Have you been consistently praying for something since the beginning of the year and you have not received? Have you then decided to stop praying? Please don’t stop praying. That miracle is around the corner. Why am I so sure that the reward of your prayer is around the corner? In Matthew 20 vs. 1 our Lord Jesus said “ For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard”.
The man kept watching over his labourers. Verses 5 and 6 “Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
Verse 7, the labourers responded “ They say unto him, because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive”.
Note that they were instructed to go and work. Not to remain idle. You also must use quality time for prayer.
The eleventh month is not the time to stop praying. Rather, it is time to intensify prayers in order to receive.
Once they returned to work. Let’s see what the master did.
Matthew 20 vs. 8 “ So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. “.
Our emphasis is verse 9, “ And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny”.
It is your time for reward. Brethren, if the labourers had quit, the owner of the vineyard would not have invited them to come and work. Note that even those that worked at the eleventh hour were rewarded.
By the grace of God the reward of ten months of prayer will manifest this month and you will testify in the name of Jesus.
But the eleventh hour may also come with judgement. If you call yourself a Christian and all you do is set booby traps for your colleagues in the office so that you will take over his or her post, then await the judgement of God.
We are in a season of God’s blessing and his judgement. What you receive depends on your attitude to him. God is merciful but he is also a God of vengeance.
Do you also know that as you receive your miracle everyone and anything that is an obstacle to your blessing, the Lord will move against them in the name of Jesus.
Hold on to him. Don’t give up.
Our assurance that God will grant our heart’s desire is found in Jeremiah 39 vs. 17&18 “ But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.
For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD”.
So, brother, sister, who are you afraid of? What are you afraid of? Remember the word of the Lord according to Psalm 27 verses 1&2 “ The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat my flesh, they stumbled and fell”.
Verse 3 “ Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident”.
Put yourself in the shoes of David the Shepherd boy; imagine all that he went through. Even after he was anointed to become king, enemies rose against him. King Saul and his agents moved against him but he remained confident.
Are you confident, how sure are you of victory? If you are sure that the Lord is on your side, then exhibit confidence. People must not identify you with a challenge the moment you are sighted. Your confidence in the Lord should be seen in you. Provided you live by his word and you don’t doubt him, your testimony will manifest.
Jeremiah 17 vs. 7&8 “ Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit”.
Don’t be deceived; God is still doing great miracles. Yours is the next. Keep fear and doubt out of your life and you will surely testify.
As a matter of fact, very soon, you will soon counsel others on how to hold on to God and receive a miracle.
Are you on a sick bed right now and doctors have told you there is no hope? There is hope for you in Christ. Ask the greatest physician to attend to your case and you will leave that sick bed healed in Jesus name.
We should always remember that the word impossibility does not exist in God’s dictionary. For we know that with God, all things are possible.
As usual, let’s lift our hearts with a few testimonies from a Pentecostal church.
A lady wrote, “ I have been suffering from ulcer since 2016; during one of the Holy Ghost services held last year, Daddy G.O. said “ there is someone here your healing will become a miracle and immediately, I felt a release inside me and ever since there had been no pain again.” Before this miraculous healing, she took three tablets a day.
There are several cases of women who have waited from seven years to 20 and God finally answered them. He gave them their own children.
In some cases, they had multiple babies.
In the name of Jesus, for all your troubles, the Lord will give you multiple blessings.
