The 2017 Pacers Half Marathon has been fixed for Saturday, November 4 at the Lekki Expresway in Victoria Island Lagos. Over 250 runners are expected to enter for the race.

Pacers Half Marathon, which is in its 5th edition has become the most anticipated half marathon race in Nigeria.

Organised by Bridge Pacers Sport Club of Lagos, Nigeria, the Pacers Half Marathon covers a distance of 13.1 miles. This distance has been completed by over 500 runners since inception.

This year’s race themed: “Happy faces, healthy hearts” will attract 250 runners for both the half marathon and 10km races.

The Bridge Pacers Sport Club, is a running club with a vision to show Nigerians the importance of distance races and also increase the number of Nigerians engaged in the long distance races for fun, fitness and building friendships as they boost their self esteem, discipline and agility.

The club also promotes healthy living, wellness and fitness.

Bridge Pacers Sports Club commenced its operations in 2014 and have successfully organised over 70 sporting events. The founding members are professionals that play in different sectors of the economy with a mutual passion- Running and fitness.
