Zambia’s Chipolopolo are expected in Uyo today to prepare for their make or mar World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles on Saturday.

The ambitious Zambians arrived Abuja from Accra on Wednesday and they are expected to train this evening ahead of the game, which they are angling to win.

This is just as midfielder Emmanuel Banda revealed his pain at missing the crucial game after picking up an injury. He has however, expressed confidence that Zambia will do the business in Uyo.

“It hurts me to know that I wont be physically present with the Mighty Chipolopolo as they take down they Eagles in Uyo this Saturday due to an injury I sustained during our game here two weeks ago.

“In as much as I wanted to be with the team I could not beat the late fitness test. But one thing is for sure,we will be together spiritually,” said Banda

Banda who plays for Belgian side, KV Oostende, says he is looking forward to regaining fitness.

“Thanks to everyone who wished me a quick recovery. I am getting better as the sun rises and sets. Each day makes me fit and stronger.”
