Delta LG polls: Jite assures of PDP victory in Udu

ASABA—A chairmanship aspirant in Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Brown Jite, has assured the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of victory in the general election when elected as a chairman of the local government council.

Jite who gave the assurance when he led thousands of his supporters across the 32 communities on a visit to the state chairman of the party, Chief Kingsley Esiso, said: “I will mobilize all members of the party and none members alike in Udu in winning subsequent elections in the Council area if given the mandate to serve as the Council Chairman of Udu Local Government.”

Insisting that he has all it takes to govern Udu Council area effectively, the Aberen of Udu Kingdom hailed the leadership qualities of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, adding that Governor Okowa through the SMART Agenda meant well for Deltans. He commended the Delta State PDP Chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso as well as other leaders of the party for making the party more vibrant and formidable to win elections.

Earlier, the state PDP chairman who accompanied Jite on the visit, maintained that he will welcome any aspirant that comes to him, stressing that he has no power to endorse any candidate.
