Blessing Okagbare (left) leaps to 6.99m to win silver in the women’s long jump at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Moscow yesterday.
Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor yesterday reached the final of the women’s Long Jump at the 2017 IAAF World Championships.

She jumped 6.51m to place second behind British Lorraine Ugen who did 6.63m. Defending champion Brittney Reese was third with 6.50m.
Ese Brume failed to qualify from her group as she managed a 6.38m jump way below her season’s best.
