TO ensure that Bendel Insurance FC of Benin regained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the Edo Government has promised to provide fans with three coaster buses as they visit Heartland on  Wednesday 28th June,  2017 in match day 19 in Nigeria National League.

The Edo Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu who is going to lead the delegation,  made the assertion on Saturday in Benin at the club’s training session ahead of the encounter.

Shaibu said the Gov. Godwin Obaseki led- administration was not too pleased with the way Bendel Insurance won home matches and lose away encounters in the first round of the (NNL).

He said as pet project of the state, the governor is committed to supporting the club to book promotion to NPFL.

He reminded Bendel Insurance players and officials that Heartland is currently topping the league, but urged them to be on top of their game and keep focus.
