His Imperial Majesty Oba Adéyeyè Enitan Ògúnwùsì Òjàjà II, the Ooni of Ife is set to proceed   on his   official visit to   the United Kingdom this  March 2017,   in line with the yearly history of the rich tradition of Commonwealth celebration in a bid to promote cultural values.

The cultural programme will commence from 13th to 25th of October 2017. The paramount ruler who since his coronation as the Ooni of Ife has been a lover of historical values and heritage   will also be attending the Commonwealth Day celebration,  and a visit to Nigerian High Commission, London. He will also be attending a lecture at Oxford University, among many other engagements before rounding up his trip with an  evening with His Imperial Majesty , a royal dinner gala night organised by Ooni of Ife Global Outreach on  Friday, March 24, 2017,  at Arora Ballroom, Intercontinental Hotel, London,    with cultural performances and special guests in attendance.

According to the Global Outreach Cultural Heritage Initiative Director ,The hallmark of the historical visit is the grand celebratory royal dinner and the maiden Ojaja II Global Heritage Award.  Popular gospel and juju   maestro, Yinka Ayefele will be on the band stand.
