Niger Delta activist,  Mr. Oweilaemi Pereotubo, yesterday, advised stakeholders and participants wishing to summit presentations at the Senate Public Hearing on the Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, to be well guided and not to heat up the polity.

Pereotubo said: ‘’If every stakeholder presents an articulate and well informed speeche that bears on the yearning of the people of core Niger Delta states, in no distant time the university would commence its academic programme.’’

He reminded Nigerians that one of the key issues that propelled the recent targets of multi-national oil pipeline bombing was the stoppage of activities at Maritime University urging participants to put the Niger Delta region and nation first before any other consideration.

Speaking further, Pereotubo said: “This is the time for people of region, irrespective of ethnic or political grouping, to reciprocate Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s fact finding visit to Gbaramatu by speaking in one voice on how desirous the institution is to them.”
