Jos—NO fewer than 458 members of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State, have joined Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
They were received by the state PDP Deputy Chairman, Amos Gombi, at Kumbur community. The new members said they were fed up with the inability of their former party to keep to the campaign promises and promised to work towards reclaiming the state from their former party.
Speaking at the ceremony, Gombi commended the people of Kumbur community of Langtang South for returning en masse to PDP, saying the returnees will be accorded the same status as other members of PDP in the locality.
He added that he was happy that the people had discovered that APC lied to them in Plateau State in 2015 and are still lying.
Also, PDP Vice Chairman, Plateau South, Mr. Simon Domle, added that he was happy to receive the former APC members to their original home, assuring that the true change will come in 2019, when the mandate of the people will be return to them.
Denis Waidu, who led the former APC members to PDP, said he was happy to lead hundreds back as “PDP is a moving train that will take them to the promise land.”
