Morale is high in the camp of the Enugu Rangers as they prepare for their final showdown of the season against El-Kanemi Warriors.
The Flying Antelopes who are on the verge of ending 32 years without a domestic league crown host the Desert Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium this weekend.
And Christian Madu has categorically stated that they will give their all to win.
“This season so far has been good and our final game will crown it. We are playing on our turf and that alone is enough to boost our confidence,” Madu said.
The Antelopes are first on the log in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table and Madu is sure this match would not change that.
“We have studied the league and discovered that El-Kanemi Warriors haven’t won a match away from home.
“We are not expecting them to win this one because we will not give them any room to do so.
“Our bid to win the title is in our hands and we are not about to throw that away.”
Rangers need at least one point from the match against El-Kanemi Warriors to be sure of being crowned champions of the 2016 NPFL on Sunday.
‘We won’t throw away this chance.’
