THE lawmaker representing Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Oghene Egoh, has distributed empowerment items to his constituents in order to cushion the effect of the present economic hardship in the country.

Egoh, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State said the gesture was informed by the pressure on him for assistance by his constituents in Festac Town recently.

The lawmaker, who distributed motorcycles, grinding machines, tricycles, generators, sewing machines, refrigerators and a bus, said the empowerment was aimed at improving the lives of the people who are worse hit as a result of the economic recession.
