Blue Seal Water & Process Treatment Company Limited has disclosed plans to establish its first chemical blending plant in Nigeria in the next 18 months.

The company also said it will commence manufacturing of equipment for water and process treatment from October 1 to broaden its range of products offering.

The Group Managing Director, of the company, Mr. Doyle Edeni, disclosed these at the company’s post-Annual National Water and Process Treatment Seminar in Lagos, saying 80 percent of its income would be deployed towards the expansion strategy, training and retraining of its staff and growth of the economy.

Edeni said the company would begin the chemical blending with initial installed capacity of 100mt per day and hoped to scale it up with all the agreements in place.

According to him, the company, which currently has a subsidiary in Texas, USA, and Senegal, will move to other parts of the world, having subjected its processes to highest standard of scrutiny.

“After 10 years of learning the process from one of the best in our industry and taken bold steps to produce similar products and testing in international market, we have mastered the skills of our former suppliers and are ready to compete,” he added.
