A founding member of the PDP in Edo State, Chief Samson Esemuede who recently defected to the APC has described the boast of his former party that it would win the election as laughable affirming that the PDP would not win a single ward in the September 10 election.

Esemuede who spoke shortly after he was issued the APC card, said “ we built that party called the PDP, and we know that right now Oshiomhole has taken over due to his developmental strides. The truth is that unlike the PDP, Oshiomhole used the state funds to develop the state, by building roads, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure while PDP was sharing the money.

“Some of us are old in this politics now, and we cannot close our eyes when we see something good. I decided to join the APC because I can no longer deceive myself, anyone who will say Oshiomhole has not done well in Edo is deceiving himself because God will not forgive you. I laugh each time the PDP leaders make noise that they will win, how are they going to win, who are the leaders with them.
