Buhari mourns Obaro of Kabba

ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari commiserated with the family of Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo, the Obaro of Kabba, who passed on last week.

This was contained in a statement by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu on Tuesday.

The president also extended his condolences to Governor Yahaya Bello and the entire people of Kogi State on the loss of the monarch.

The President, who noted that “the past 30 years since Oba Olobayo’s ascension to the throne have witnessed peace and remarkable advancements in Kabba, also commends the late Oba’s invaluable contributions to the development of the entire Kogi State.”

President Buhari prayed God to comfort the family, friends and subjects of the departed royal father.
