To ease the pains of motorists driving along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, especially the bad portion of the stretch around Berliet Bus-stop, Lagos State Government, through the Public Works Corporation, LSPWC, has commenced palliative work on the road.

The Special Adviser/Chief Executive Officer, LSPWC, Engr. Ayotunde Sodeinde, clarified that the palliative work would be carried out by LSPWC “and this will continue until FERMA commences total reconstruction of the bad spot at Berliet Bus-stop.” According to him, the corporation’s road maintenance gang will work day and night on the road.

He recalled that the FERMA co-ordinator (Lagos-West), Kehinde Afolabi, was quoted to have said that the bad portion around Berliet would be reconstructed from the 2016 Budget when it is passed.
