Awka—THE wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano has called on the people of the zone to vote for the candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for the Anambra Central senatorial re-run election, Chief Victor Umeh.

The election was postponed indefinitely by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, following a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja directing the commission to include PDP in the rerun.

Umeh has, however, continued to campaign for the election and during his visit to Amawbia in Awka South Local Government Area, Mrs. Obiano urged the people to vote for the APGA candidate because he would give the zone adequate representation in the senate.

Addressing a campaign rally at Eziokpala-Igwe Square, Amawbia, Mrs. Obiano observed that the people of the area have been supporting the present administration in the state and hoped that they would express the support more by voting for Umeh.
