Flood alert: C-River towns submerge as FG’s dam collapses
“We now live like destitutes. As a matter of fact, we have been displaced from our home; look at where I am now living at the mercy of people. Myself, my wife and seven children now survive only on goodwill. “My cocoa and yam farms are also gone; I just do not know what to do next. I am using this medium to appeal to our President, Muhammadu Buhari and His Excellency, Professor Ayade to please come to my aid. I am living like a stranger in my own land.”
We help ‘at risk’ students realise their ambitions – Jelena Zivkovic
“Our main goal is to get them to graduate so we try to act as their best friend. What do we do to get them to graduate? However, we have identified a number of students struggling academically and they are failing and unable to graduate. Some cannot seem to get over their math course, they keep failing. This is where we come in and try to offer deeper/broader assistance from a more holistic approach. We identify the students that are at academic risk and then work to get them over the hurdle so that they can progress,” said Zivkovic.

An evening with the Vice President

Alien forces hijacked Warri – Kes Agbosa, Chair, Warri Rebirth Initiative
The alien forces, as far as I am concerned, are the Itsekiri, Urhobo and Ijaw, who did not grow up in Warri, who do not see the unity we are talking about. They only came for parochial and economic reasons and in order to get whatever they think they wanted, they needed to kill their brother. If they grew up in Warri, they will not see their brother as enemy. They are alien forces; they came from outside and were not born in Warri. However, I can tell you that the walls of enmity, which they built, are being shattered with what Warri Rebirth Initiative is doing.
