Actress Oma Nnadi who confessed last year that she hardly finds time to attend to her personal needs following her tight schedules in recent times is getting busier than ever. Since the beginning of this year, the Nkwere, Imo State-born actress has been shuttling between Asaba, Enugu, and Lagos, shooting films and writing her name in gold. At the moment, she’s on a movie set in Enugu, shooting her 6th film for the year.

In a chat with HVP, the actress takes stock of her accomplishments in the first half of the year, attributing her achievements to hard work and her ability to interpret her roles in movies.   “I have featured in six films since the beginning of this year,” she began.

“I first starred in the movie, “Good Wife” by Chinneylove Eze Productions, which was shot in Lagos and featuring other stars such as Frederick Leonard and Yvonne Jegede, I played the role of a wife who was abused by her husband on daily basis and when she couldn’t take it any more, she had to run for her dear life.

The second movie, which was shot in Owerri and directed by Ifeanyi Ogbonna was a romantic comedy featuring the likes of Nkem Owoh , chinwetalu Agu, Harry B, Chinwe Isaac among others.

Her other films were either shot in Lagos or Asaba and Anambra State. Describing the roles she plays in these films as challenging, Oma took a break after the last movie and travelled to Europe and the United States to cool off before returning to the trenches, doing what she knows how to do best.

Last year, the soft-spoken actress confirmed that she was jumping from one movie location to another. She has evolved from being an unknown actress to one of today’s busiest actresses, taking after the likes of Mercy Johnson and Chika Ike. No month passes without Oma interpreting at least three movie roles.
