PDP chieftain makes case for Okowa’s election victory

WARRI—AHEAD of the April 11 governorship election, Ochuko Odugba, President, Concerned Isoko Youth for Good Governance, and a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  chieftan in Isoko North/South Local Government Area of Delta State, yesterday, re-affirmed the Isoko nation’s commitment to work and campaign for the state’s PDP governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa till he got victory.

Odugba, who stated this during a campaign tour of the two Isoko local government areas, urged the people to ensure that they put their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, into productive use by voting en bloc for the PDP, and also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to improve on the just concluded elections by ensuring that electoral materials got to the various polling units on time.

He said: “We reiterate the position of our party, the PDP that all eligible voters must be effectively mobilised  for the twin purpose of winning the coming election, and sustaining the laudable projects of the PDP-led government in the state.”

According to the Public Relations Officer of Concerned Isoko Youth for Good Governance, Frank Oghor: “The aim of our work is to showcase the people-oriented programmes of our governorship candidate to the electorate, as well as sensitise them on the need to vote PDP all the way on April 11.”
