ABEOKUTA-The People’s Democratic Party in Ogun State has described the alleged endorsement of former Head of State and Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammad Buhari by former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the beginning of Buhari’s failure.

The Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, Waliu Oladipo who reacted on behalf of the party in the state, said the party did not lose sleep over the endorsement.

According to him, Obasanjo’s endorsement of Buhari does not amount to anything, if anything, it is the beginning of Buhari’s failure.

“Here is a man who has never won any free and fair election. His election in 1999 is as controversial as 2003, what is more?

“Obasanjao has never won election in his polling booth, his purported endorsement of Buhari is an exercise in futility.

“By the grace of God, even if General Buhari gets tens of thousands of such endorsements, he will be roundly defeated by Goodluck Jonathan on
March 28”, he said.
