OWERRI — Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths rose from an emergency meeting in Owerri, yesterday, condemning the recent attack on President Goodluck Jonathan’s convoy in Bauchi and Katsina states by irate youths, re-affirming their total support for the re-election project of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The position of the youths was contained in a communique by the National Vice Presidents for Imo, Obinna Achinonye; Odozi   Nwodozi, Delta; Kanu Nwaorisara, Rivers, and Alex Okemiri – Presid- ent, Ebonyi State chapter, and made available to newsmen in Owerri.

“We wish to observe that our brother and President of this country, recently escaped assassination attempt by some youths in Bauchi and Katsina states. We condemn the barbaric act in its entirety.”
