A PRESIDENTIAL aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, has concluded plans to formally declare his intention to run for the office of the president on October 28, 2014.

A statement by the Executive Director of his campaign organisation, Sam4Nigeria, Mr. Ibrahim Tukur, said the public declaration would offer delegates, party members and the public the opportunity of deepening the conversation about the country’s future.

The statement reads: ‘’Our country has never been in greater need for change. What came out loud and clear during our consultative tours were people telling us that they were tired of change as a slogan – they need change as an action word, now.

“For the first time in the history of Nigeria, our great party, the APC, offers change as an action word, a real possibility. The overwhelming feedback is that we also have an aspirant, Sam, who embodies the hopes and aspirations of party and country.

“Sam stands for big ideas about the country’s future. At a time when the country is deeply divided he offers a strong unifying message and generational connectedness.

”He is in touch. It’s time for all those who are truly fed up with 15 wasted years of the ruling PDP to stand up with Sam and be counted.”
