Retired Nigeria  international Jonathan Akpoborie reckons that the Super Eagles can triumph over Bafana Bafana in today’s game in Cape Town.

The former Wolfsburg attacker has stressed that the African champions should not be written off, and has tipped them to defeat their hosts if they correct the deficiencies that were noticed in the last game against Congo.

‘’I think we can win the game against South Africa, but do we have the tactical plan to crack them? That’s the question,’’ Jonathan Akpoborie said.

‘’Against Congo, they were tactically better. We just went to play football. They came with organization plus skill and strength.

‘’Hope can not be lost after one game, that’s not the case. There is still a lot to play for.’’
