IBADAN—Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has called on politicians to exhibit high level of decorum and decency in order to ensure a successful and peaceful democratic process, as the 2015 general elections draw near.

He stated this while receiving a delegation of Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, who paid him a courtesy call at the Agodi Government House, Ibadan yesterday.
Ajimobi said since the objective of any political party was to promote development and the welfare of the people, there should be no need for rancour and bitterness among politicians, stressing that developmental politics should be the focus of every participant.

He said leaving good legacy should be the main objective of all politicians.
While commending the initiative of the council for creating a platform for interaction among different political parties to ensure that such interaction is geared towards providing good governance to better the lots of the people.
