The long term commitment by Nigeria’s most innovative financial power house, Access Bank Plc. in the prestigious Access Bank UNICEF Charity Shield Polo, has received official thumps-up from the Kaduna State Govern-ment.
Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Ramallan Yero who made this declaration at the Kangimi Resort, Kaduna venue of the ongoing Access Bank UNICEF Charity Shield international polo tournament, commended the unequaled involve-ment of the Access Bank in promoting charity, polo and sports generally in the country.
Alhaji Yero, who arrive the venue alongside his cabinet members as the Special Guest of Honour, bowled the ball to officially gallop off the last stage of the 2014 edition of the Charity Shield tournament.
The Kaduna Governor who watched Max Air defeated Keffi Ponys 11-10 in the first game of the Charity Shield noted that Access Bank partnership with UNICEF and Fifth Chukker has helped in enriching lives of many venerable children in the state.
The polo loving governor urged other corporate organizations to emulate Access Bank commitment to charity and sport promotion across the country, given the positive effect the event has had on the lives of venerable children in the society.
