The Rising Star Leadership initiative has toured six schools in Lagos in February alone with the objective of teaching students vital lessons on Leadership, Personality Development, Career Choice and Academic Excellence as they prepare for the forth-coming Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).
Rising Stars Leadership Initiative which “a Voluntary Leadership Initiative with an emphatic outreach in Academic, Moral and Career development of students in high schools in a bid to reposition them for purposeful and true education”, has through her programmes since its inception effected positive transformation and impacts on students in some Lagos schools.
According to Mr. Abraham Owoseni, the Project Director, the schools in Lagos covered in this tour includes, Command Day Secondary School, Oshodi; Anastasia Comprehensive College, New Oko-Oba; Karmel Junior Secondary School, Alapere, Ketu; Adedayo High school, New Oko-Oba, amongst others.
The sessions also featured the presentation of certificates and Personal development books to the deserving students and the school libraries of each school, as a sustainable impact indicator on the students.
