Dangote Group, controlled by Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, is considering the purchase of Nigerian oil fields as international companies plan to sell onshore assets in Nigeria.

The Kaduna State Government, yesterday said it was collaborating with the Federal Government to construct a new dam to generate power and boost water supply in the state.
The General Manager of the State Water Board, Mr Kabiru Rufa’i said in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Kaduna that the dam would also be utilised for irrigation purposes.
