North West PDP expresses support for Jonathan


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stakeholders from the North-West Zone yesterday expressed implicit confidence and support for the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The stakeholders made this declaration during a courtesy call on the Vice President, Mohammed Namadi in Kaduna.
They said that they were in Kaduna to felicitate with Sambo  on the occasion of the new year 2014 as well as to brief him on the political developments in their various states, even as they also expressed willingness to forge a common front to ensure peaceful political activities and compliance to due process.”

Also, in a statement read by Ambassador Aminu Wali from Kano State on behalf of the party executives, they unanimously expressed their “unshaken belief in the unity and indivisibility of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We reiterate our total support and loyalty to the PDP and the NWC. We agreed to work assiduously to promote peace and unity among members of the PDP and ensure sustainable growth of the party in our states as well as its success in future elections.
