You are bad losers, Ogun APC tells PDP, LP

BY DAUD OLATUNJI

ABEOKUTA — The  All Progressives Congress in Ogun State has   described the  leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Labour Party, LP, as bad losers for rating  governor  Ibikunle Amosun below average.

The party which described  the rating by the two opposition parties in the state as   mischievous, misleading and myopic, accused the parties of deliberately closing  their minds and eyes to the ‘on going unparalleled transformation’ being recorded by the Amosun administration in the state.

APC’s state publicity secretary in the state,  Sola Lawal, yesterday, stated   that the difference between the LP  and PDP is that between six and half a dozen and that the two parties are led by those who misruled the state between 2003 and 2011.
Both the PDP and LP while reacting  to  Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s new year message to the people of  the state  in which  he scored his administration high,  scored him zero in some areas and less than 10 per cent in infrastructure development.

According to them in separate reactions, Amosun had failed the people of the state in many areas including health, education, among others.
But, APC in its statement, yesterday, said  it understood the frustration of PDP and LP leaders, who instead of bringing development to the state, resorted to foisting a culture of violence on the people.

“These failed politicians in the two parties should either bury their heads in shame or keep quiet as the people will no longer tolerate their shenanigan,” APC said.
APC further stated that since these opposition parties failed to make positive impact in the lives of the people of the state while they were in power, they are of the opinion that no other administration should be acknowledged as having recorded any success.
