BY Tony Edike
ENUGU—A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Dr. David  Onuoha-Bourdex, has commended the Senate for the stabilising role it is playing in the National Assembly, saying that the Senators are putting life to the wisdom of having a second legislative chamber for the country.

Onuoha-Bourdex, who spoke to journalists on recent development in the country, tasked the lawmakers to look into ways of making enabling laws for the strengthening of critical infrastructure in the country adding that the current emphasis on party politics tends to short- change Nigerian voters.

He enjoined Nigerian politicians to ensure that internal democracy at the party level was aimed at developing the party machinery to become a more democratic, transparent and an effective party system that will satisfy the hallmark of democratic governance.
