BY  ANAYO OKOLI
UMUAHIA—AHEAD of 2015, Citizens Popular Party, CPP, has decried the lack of position in Abia State politics, promising to change in the minds of the people for better governance come.

At present, Abia State, according to a statement by the CPP, can  comfortably be said to be a one party state, with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, dominating all aspects of politics in the state, having a sitting governor and all the 24 members of the House of Assembly.

The party noted that other political parties that ought to serve as opposition only come around during elections, make noise and retreat to their shells as soon as elections were over.

It noted also that the main opposition at the national level, the All Progressives Congress, APC, was yet to find its feet in the state.
