By Akpokona Omafuaire

AGULERI- APGA candidate at the ongoing  Anambra Governorship election, Chief Willie Obiano has said that he has not been disqualified from contesting the  election.

Obiano was answering questions from reporters after his acrediatation at Aguleri said the report of his disqualification was a campaign of calumny by the opposition. He however urged his supporters to come out and vote.

Can you tell us what you just did?

Obiano:  Well, I have just performed a civic responsibility and I urged all Anambrarians to do same. I just did the accreditation then later,  the real voting, I am happy to be here and I am happy to be participating.

Let me use this opportunity to dis-abuse the minds of people that I have been disqualified, I have not been disqualified, I am very much in the race. It is just a campaign of calumny by the opposition, I am very much in the race, very soon you will see me cast my vote, I urge everybody to come out and vote, I thank you.

On INEC lateness:

Well I would have prefer that they (INEC) were here on time but beyond that I think they are doing.
