WARRI— FORMER Community Engagement Manager at Chevron Nigeria Ltd, and Senatorial aspirant for the Delta South district, Prince Yemi Emiko, has called on Nigerians to rally round All Progressives Congress, APC, to improve their standard of living.
He made this call while addressing a crowd of youths and women at the Ubeji town hall in Warri, under the platform of Organising For Delta, OFD, one of his political initiatives for mobilising a broad-base support for the new party.
Emiko lamented that the bad condition of the Ekpan-Ubeji Road leading to the community, which hosts the Warri Refinery and the Nigerian Gas Company, two important economic vehicles in the state.
He said that the companies had been abandoned by the Federal and state governments.
He observed that commuters waste valuable time on the short road in trying to get home from work daily, adding that an APC government will transform the state, as it is in Lagos and Edo states.
Emiko called on the youths to prepare to stand on the force of argument, as opposed to the argument of force, where they are used as cannon fodders and then abandoned.
He said that he was providing leadership through OFD for the youths and women to organise themselves, protect their votes and enthrone positive changes that will herald the process of hope, courage and measurable performance.
