ONITSHA — The National Board for Technical Education, (NBTE) has scored the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, pass mark on the speedy pace of development in the institution in the last three year.
The NBTE director of Programme, Mr. Jay Aboi who spoke at a workshop, enhancing the polytechnic of the moment through effective leadership said he was impressed with the Information Communication Technology (ICT) turn around in the polytechnic.
He commended the management of the polytechnic for the workshop which was organized for the newly appointed heads of departments at the polytechnic, saying that capacity building always ensures improved output in every establishment.
Aboi, who was represented by Aloysius Mpieri presented a paper on Curriculum Development, Implementation and NBTE Guidelines.
He noted that the last time he was in the polytechnic was when he led an accreditation team to the polytechnic in 2009, commending the Rector, Prof. Godwin Onu for the tremendous development of the institution.
