JAMB assures candidates on 2013 computer–Based –Test (CBT)

Ado-Ekiti – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it is ready to conduct its first ever computer-based UTME test.

The Ekiti Coordinator of the board, Mrs Elizabeth Adeyemo, made this known in an interview  in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.

She said that the board had put everything in place to make the exercise a success.

She said that some candidates embraced the newly introduced computer–Based –Test (CBT), while a few others opted for the usual Pencil-Paper-Test (PPT).

According to her, the development has spurred the board to open more centres to address possible challenges that may make the computer –Based-Test inconvenient for candidates.

Mrs Adeyemo urged candidates who signified intention to write their papers through the computer not to entertain worry.

The coordinator assured the candidates writing the examination through CBT not to entertain fears because the board had made arrangement for necessary technical assistance.(NAN)
