CONCERNED elders and stakeholders in Cross River State have called on the National Assembly to remove the control of local government funds from state governors.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC last week clamped down on drug outlets in Ajah area of Lagos, shutting down four shops and arresting three persons in the process for stocking and selling fake unregistered banned drugs.
