Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio, yesterday dissolved the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council. A statement yesterday by Pastor Anietie Ukpe, Senior Special Assistant (Media)/Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said Governor Akpabio expressed his appreciation and that of the entire people of Akwa Ibom State to the former members of the State Executive Council for their services and wished them well in their future endeavours.

With the dissolution, the outgone members of the State Executive Council were directed to hand over to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
