Bajaj controls 35% motorcycle market share

Bajaj Auto Limited, manufacturers of Boxer motorcycles said it controls 35 percent share of the bike market,  even as it offers free maintenance service to operators.

The free maintenance service referred to as  check-up camp set up in Badagry, Lagos State  included sensitization of  bike operators  and owners of  Boxer motorcycles which saw the company  tutor participates on the distinguishing factors between the original spare parts of the bike from the fake.

Speaking, Mr. Sudhir Kamath, Asst Manager Export Service of Bajaj at the camp in Badagry, said the company tends to consolidate on its leadership of the market, this, he said  informed the reason for the maintenance camp as the camp had spread to parts of the country to sensitize the product users of the need for regular maintenance.

Apart from the six check- up points for the motorcycles at the camp, the Okada riders also provided several vital tips to maintaining their bikes  at the engagement section in the camp.

The technology section of the camp displayed the cut-sections of important parts of the product which renders strength to the bike.

With over 1,500 bikes serviced at the Victoria camp site, the company said its committed alongside DAG Motorcycles Limited, marketers of the brand in Nigeria to offer unique experience to all its customers.
