Don’t struggle to qualify in 2012, Army general warns Eagles

Nigeria Premier League match commissioner and military sports administrator, Emmanuel Okaro has urged Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi to do everything possible to avoid struggling to qualify for the 2013 Nations Cup.

Brigadier-General Okara rtd who was speaking against the background of preparations for the 2012 campaigns noted that Keshi must ensure that he gets good results right from the start.

“This time around Nigerians want to see the Eagles winning with good results and not draws, anything short of that will be disaster.

“We need to grab the three maximum points and refrain from late minute permutations in order to qualify. We really need to learn from the last Nation’s Cup qualifiers if we must qualify for 2013 Nation’s Cup,” said Okaro.

He welcomed Keshi’s decision to include the players from various clubs in the NPL in his drive to bring quality to the Eagles.
