LAGOS— National leader of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinibu, has reiterated the need for the enthronement of true federalism in the country.
He argued that it was the only viable solution to the lingering ethno religious and tribal crises threatening the unity and development of Nigeria.
He called on progressive minds to rise up to the challenge of defending democracy and fight bad leadership in Nigeria, adding that power does not come on the platter of gold but by struggle.
Represented by Vice Chairman, Editorial Board of the Nation Newspaper, Mr. Ayobolu Olusegun at the Norsewide International 3rd national converge in Lagos, Tinubu, said ‘’this type of programme is timely, in addressing the challenges of the moment. By this, we know there is hope for this country, for a group of people with like minds and common purpose to give their energy, time and resources to pursue what is for public good.
“This is patriotism, it is a non tribal, religious group, a Pan-Nigerian group with a patriotic spirit to effect positive change through good leadership. This is the kind of thing we need to move the country forward.’’
