As part of the celebrations marking its 75 years of flying to Nigeria, British Airways last weekend hosted its trade partners from around the country to show appreciation for their support over the years.
The airline also said Nigeria, being its strategic market, remained its top priority in in the area of global marketing campaign.
Speaking at the event, Area General Manager for Europe and Africa, Mr. Gavin Halliday, said the celebration was an opportunity for the airline to bond and interact with its partners and foster networking opportunities among participants.
He expressed satisfaction at the cordial relationship between the airline and its trade partners in the country since its debut 75 years ago.
Halliday, who noted that such support had helped to deliver an excellent level of service to Nigerians, said British Airways regarded Nigeria as a strategic market.
Consequently, he said British Airways always placed the country in the forefront of its marketing strategies, adding that the new brand campaign which was launched recently, was currently running in three countries, including Nigeria, the United Kingdom and United States.
