The Lagos State chapter of Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN), the umbrella body for all film marketers and executive producers in the country recently elected new executives to pilot its affairs for the next three years.

While the positions of secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer and public relations officer went to Okey Ezugwu, George Onyekaonwu, Alex Odum and Sunday Ojiego, in that order.
Other elected officers were Emeka Adua, Nnamdi Anyanaso, Kenneth Okonkwo and Nnamdi Isidenu, who respectively clinched the posts of financial secretary, provost, welfare officer and assistant provost.
Meanwhile, the inauguration ball for the newly elected officers holds on Thursday, August 11, at Pearl Harbour, Festac Town.
According to the chairman of the inauguration committee, Paul C. Okoli, the event begins with a red carpet at 10.a.m. after which guests would be treated to the best of entertainment immediately after the inauguration.
Also speaking, Ajaegbu, who promised to remove all obstacles militating against the growth of Nollywood, equally promised to move the industry to the next level with the support of all stakeholders and practitioners.
