In light of the Nigerian Government’s prioritisation of science and technology in education, Gateway Business (the leading provider of pan-African corporate connectivity) will be collaborating with a number of schools in Lagos State on various educational initiatives. These partnerships will form part of an ongoing Gateway Business project to empower the young generation.

The first event, a ‘Sun is Life’ themed Science Fair, will take place at the Carol School on 9th July, aiming to provide students with a fresh indepth perspective and thorough appreciation of scientific issues.

Carol School is a privately-owned nursery and primary school, whose students receive education comparable to any advanced country.

Commenting on the event, Mrs Bola, Headmistress of the school said: “With Gateway Business’ support, we can showcase science as a necessary part of our education system, review various methods of teaching science and promote a spirit of competition and creativity among the up and coming scientists of the country.”

Gateway Business will then sponsor one of the leading science and technology focused schools in Nigeria.
