PRESIDENTIAL candidate of Fresh Democratic Party, Rev. Chris Okotie, has taken a swipe at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, saying the party has nothing to offer the country, and so should be voted out.
Okotie, who said this, Thursday, in Lagos at an interactive session with women as part of activities to mark the end of his presidential campaign, advised Nigerians to look for the candidate that will take the country to the promised land, not the one that will take “one step forward and three steps backward.”
He said the time had come to effect a change in the governance of this great nation. He said Fresh Democratic Party was the only viable option for change, adding, “we cannot go back to the PDP. There is absolutely nothing the PDP can offer Nigerians.”
He advised those who will vote on Saturday to “recognise that this is a very critical period in the history of our political evolution. They must make the right choice because Nigeria’s problems are beyond partisan affiliations. We must look for the man that can become the renaissance man of our democratic philosophy and that man is Rev. Chris Okotie.”
Okotie also urged Nigerians to continue to have faith in God, saying, “we believe in divine intervention and I believe the time has come for God to intervene in the affairs of this country.”
