Organisers of the annual All Nigeria Secondary Schools Football Championship tagged NNPC/Shell Cup have named nine centres in the country as hosts of the Zonal preliminaries of the competition holding from today through Monday next week.

According to the National Co-ordinator of the competition, Shola Akinwale, the centres are Ijebu-Ode, Oshogbo, Enugu, Owerri, Calabar, Kano, Lafia, Dutse and Bauchi.

Champion schools from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory are to be grouped in fours at the centres.

Akinwale said that the team with the highest points from the round-robin session in each centre will qualify for the quarter-finals which hold March 11 and 12, 2011 in four cities namely Asaba, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Ilorin.
