Subscribers laud Glo Talkmore

Subscribers have commended Globacom for crashing call rates to 30 kobo per second on its Talkmore package.
Mr. Eugene Eboka, who runs a manufacturing concern in Lagos, while on a business visit to the Lagos Regional Office of Globacom, said his business has received a major boost since he upgraded to Glo Talkmore, as it allows him to make more calls to his clients.

He said the crashing of call rate to 30 kobo per second meets the yearnings of a majority of Nigerians going by the volume of calls that they make on daily basis.

“If you are an entrepreneur like me, who makes many calls in the course of overseeing my business, then you will appreciate the benefits of being on the Talkmore platform, which has enabled me  to maximise my investment”, Eboka stated.

Another subscriber, Andrew Onwumere, a student of one of the tertiary institutions in Lagos, said he has been enjoying the benefits of savings offered by Glo Talkmore, since it was introduced.

“I never knew I could save so much on calls until I read about the offer. I immediately activated it on my line and have been able to make more calls for the same amount of money that I used to spend before now”.

Alhaji Shehu Ahmed who deals in foreign exchange at Mallam Aminu Kano Airport, Kano also expressed delight at the introduction of Talkmore by Globacom. He was full of praises for Globacom for the heavy reduction in call tariff for subscribers.

He said the savings from the Talkmore package has had a positive effect on his business as it helped him make considerable savings while at the same time enabling him to reach more customers than before.

For Tawa Bakare, an Abuja based trader, however, it was her son who brought home the good news a few weeks ago and activated it on her line.

“Since then, I have noticed that my credit does not burn out so quickly any more. I am able to call more people and I have also got my friends to sign on to the package so that we can all enjoy the benefits (of Talkmore)”.

Glo Talkmore, which was introduced last December, gives Glo subscribers the opportunity to make Glo-to-Glo calls at the rate of 30 kobo per second and a maximum of N18 per minute. Similarly, Glo subscribers pay 60 kobo per second and a maximum of N36 per minute for calls to other networks. The package is available to existing and new Globacom prepaid subscribers.

Buoyed by the positive testimonies by users, Globacom, in a press statement, conveyed its appreciation to Nigerian for keeping faith with the Glo brand over the years. Describing the package as a subscriber-win-all, Globacom’s Group Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mohamed Jameel, said he was quite happy that Glo Talkmore has achieved its objective of giving subscribers the freedom to make more calls to their friends and family across the country.
