Armstrong Dark Ale, a new stout drinkÂ geared towards appealing to strong and proud Nigerian men, is fast making in road into the Nigerian black beer market.
The stout which was recently launched in Aba division, comprising Aba, Calabar, Bayelsa, Enugu, Abakaliki, Owerri and in Ibadan division, comprising Ibadan, Abeokuta, Akure, Ilorin, Lokoja, Ado_ Ekiti and Oshogbo has startedÂ attracting commendations from distributors, who have been able to get the dark ale to the targeted consumers, within a short period of its sales and promotional launch.
Amongst the distributors in Ibadan division, who made comments on the performance of the beer since itâ€™s launch, were Chief E. A. Oledejo, of Emmak Enterprises, an Ibadan based sales distributor commended the distinctive novelty attributes (DNA) of Armstrong Dark Ale.
The Ibadan, based Chief Executive said â€œThe rate at which the auxiliary sales men are picking up the stockÂ is increasing by the day, even retailers are coming from far and near to buy stock. He went further to comment on the general view the consumers are having about Armstrong Dark Ale, describing the brand as truly distinctive dark ale that is set to take over the leadership of the mainstream black beer landscape.â€
Consumers, like Bartholomew Enahoro, a staff of goodwill Services in Ibadan, said Armstrong Dark Ale is easy to drink and it has a great taste, with a pocket friendly price to go with. That also makes me to keep on patronizing the drink, he quipped.
ArmstrongÂ is expected to leverage on the growth in the mainstream beer category by providing consumers with the choice of consistently high quality dark ale at an attractive price.
The Eastern divisional launch of Armstrong Dark Ale has also been successful as the consumers, like their western divisional counterparts have also been receiving the dark ale with commendations.
